Comment: Walking Carnarvon Gorge in the Carnarvon National Park

Brings back memories of our previous visits to this wonderful place. Back in 1980 with our 4 children aged 4 to 11 years we first walked the length of the Gorge the kids basically ignoring the stepping stones. At the end of the walk our youngest then aged 4 took off his runners, pointed to his water logged feet and said " mum this is what you call agony" . He had walked/ran totally unassisted all the way.
