There are plenty alomg the big river road you just need to get in before someone else especially on a long weekend.

heaps along big river road, i know some nice ones off on small tracks, but i would be in trouble for letting the secrets out . On big river road adjacent to frenchmans creek looked alright, plenty of good water all year round.

We use the DSE maps for the area, try a parks victoria
shop , not that you need a special map to find big river road, just the vicroads has that and others.
