Comment: Back to the North

Back on my PC, so this comment bubble should get to you.
Wow, the adventures continue! And don't you thank your ancestors for the true grit you've inherited? It really takes a lot more than some handy cash to get to all the amazing places you've been.
Love seeing the pix: flora, fauna, artistic shots & candid camera work. What happened to the line in Animation you'd started? How's Skip? or have I missed somethin?
Interesting comments on the "other world"you've been introduced to. When you're back in Melbourne, get out to the Willem Ricketts Sanctuary. Someone ahead of his time, but he was inspired to portray the Pitjanjara, thousands of MILES from their homeland, where he had met them. The local folk here, Wurundjeri?, were not really impressed. Weren't there about 200 different Indigenous languages across this island continent? So racially and culturally, they could be worlds apart. Then, introduce our approach to life...not a great fit. It's great that they have survived and can still teach us some things too. For one thing, how to endure our extreme climate ;-)
Looking forward to a long sundee lunch, with Gp 54, by the Yarra, when you get back
