I remember sitting with my grandfather in his garage watching him develop film photos, it was intriguing watching them come to life!

Hi Wayne,
Yes it was a special sort of magic! One of my first paying jobs was copying treasured manuscripts by photographing them, developing the film then printing to high contrast paper and developing that, the sort of thing that a photocopier now does at the rate of a few pages per second. I still love the effects we can achieve with monochrome.
