Can anyone please tell me if the stud pattern on early Foresters with 15 inch rims is the same as the newer models with the 16 inch rims.

All the later model Subarus should have same stud pattern (
Liberty, Impreza etc) - I haven't checked! Someone was looking at replacing 16" wheels with 15" as the choice of tyres is better - but I think the later models with 16" wheels have bigger brakes which would foul the wheel??

i believe the later rims will bolt straight on with no problems, have been asking around with the same question.the man to ask directly is Jody, he has owned every subaru that has been realeased and now has a subaru accessory factory in Qld. type SubaXtreme into your search engine to find him he will know for sure. he has just fitted a 40mm lift kit to my wifes forrester, looks and rides fantastic.
