The Great Victoria Desert – Our Return Visit August 2014 Part 1

My planned route that I had worked on for our return visit to Australia’s largest desert, The Great Victoria Desert, was very specific, and if I was not able to do just one section,

What a great trip Stephen. On behalf of travel mate Russ and myself, a massive thanks to you and Fiona....you for your research, route planning, attention to detail and effort in getting permissions/permits etc. Fiona for putting up with the many hours you must have put into making this trip the enjoyable tour that it was. Very different country and I’m totally sold on the GVD.

Your photos are fantastic and provide a journal in themselves. I’m itching to get into mine now. Looking forward to the memories and surprises in coming chapters.

Hi Mick

It was a real please to have you and Russ along for the ride. I have decided to break the blog up, as there are just too many photos and wording for just one blog.

I do have one issue only........John, he was a very bad influence on Fiona and I.......lol

Next trip we will not be among the "ground dwellers", picking up an Ultimate this weekend.

I hope Russell enjoyed himself and had a great time out in the true Aussie Outback.

Lets hope we can all travel together with each other again.
