Sorry to hear about your fuel problems Mike. However I think your action needs to be with the supplier of the fuel. Or if poor fuel hygiene is the cause then you probably don't need to look to far. I really don't think you would get far chasing Toyota. Its not a common problem and any car can have a blocked filter / pump with very dirty fuel.

One possible action that might be successful is your insurance company. All seem to be different, but I know GIO will cover the repair costs of bad accidental fuel damage. Worth a try.
