Hi Frank
Thanks for your comprehensive comments. I have a
Kimberley Kamper and have been mulling over the changeover for a while also and have also seen your supplier's website and wondered about the quality of his product. They looked pretty good
Cheers

Hi Maz,
Thanks for your comment. If you decide to go ahead with the conversion, whether from the people I used or someone else, as long as you have a BMS to provide the nrequired protection I'm sure you would be satisfied.
We have just returned from a week away with 2 fully cloudy days, 3 days of intermittent sun and only two days of good solar and no driving time for the dc-dc charger to do its thing. Running the Karavan and its fridge, plus the car fridge as a minus 10 freezer presented no problems. We did not run the generator at all for the week (national parks) and departed our last
camp with 50% in the batteries.
With the old batteries we would have been looking for a generator friendly site or mains power after the frst two days of no sun.
Cheers
Frank
