Probably a bit difficult to compare your times with theirs given the difference in volumes.
From memory they would have had 50 ltrs +, in 3 or 4 tubs = at least a couple of buckets of clean.
I never think of trying it when away ..... duh ... lol

That would be another great experiment, but with a greater volume of water, one would think that if I had say 20 litres of water and added 4 dessert spoons of Epsom Salts, the same time for settling should be achieved.
A good excuse to try it in larger volumes rather than 10 litres at a time.
