G'day all,
I am wondering if/how people have corrected their speedo's after fitting bigger tyres, and where you can get this done/how much etc. I am especially interested in Toyota 80/100 series Cruisers with 33 or 35 inch tyres.
Cheers big ears!

Cruza,
check with
Castlemaine Rod
Shop (www.rodshop.com.au) They did one for me on an 80 series a couple of years ago. You'll need to give them a few details like diff ratio, tyre size and so on and they'll make up a convertor to connect to your gearbox and connect your speedo cable into. It's only a small unit and not very expensive, I'm running 33's on my 100 series and for the ammount it puts the speedo out I wouldnt bother again, but thats your choice!

I just put an arrow on
mine pointing to the GPS readout! It works every time, and is even transferrable to any vehicle.

Yes, I have just fitted 35's to an 80 series which slowed the speedo reading by 10% .
Castlemaine supplied corrector box & it now reads spot on with GPS .
