My wife & I are (hopefully) going to be visiting Mt Dare and
Dalhousie Springs as part of an excursion later in the year, but will basically be in & out of the National Park on the same day - we're not doing the Simmo this time, and won't be camping in the National Park either. Can anyone tell me if we need to pay for a Desert Parks pass just for a day trip?
Thanks,
Lockie

Don't need one.
$ 10 entry and $ 18 to
camp per night.

No you don't, but it is stupid that you need one to travel along the K 1 line (in the park for 130 K's) to Peoppels corner from the B'ville track.
The dearest toll Rd in Australia.

Indeed, even with a normal crossing it is a fair cost considering most people get a chance to make it across maybe once a year, and an average crossing might be say 4 days in the SA part of the park.
Still, we have two trip this year on $90 renewal, so getting better value for fees in 2015 :)
