Sardine track condition needed.

I'm planning a trip for a group this weekend in which I guaranteed to
make it mild enough for the wives to be in a good enough mood to jump
into a Jacuzzi after the event, but has to be enough fun for us to be worthwhile doing.

It will be around the North end of Victoria's Pyrenees mountains.

Its all planned out and we will head down Sardine Rd from Moonambel way and plan
to go thru Percydale historic Area.

As you head South, Sardine Rd becomes Sardine track and gets a bit steep but
I just can't get reliable info on how steep this section is.

After this section its an easy run via No2 track to Mt Avoca but I seem to remember
a section there on one of the Pyrenees Exploroz trips where there were wheel lifting
ruts on Sardine (I have a picture of Sir Kevs underbelly about there).

Either of the above might turn off the girls.

So can anyone remember what I'm talking about ?

Not sure Robin, but make the tyres soft and the Chardy cold and they won't notice ;)

Oh Robin!

I know this is the go to site for good advice... I opened this thread with so much expectation!

I finally thought some one had solved my biggest problem.

Alas! Still I ponder LOL

Cheers

Heather and Anthony , you know I'd never create a controversial post unless it was in your best interests and gave useful information.

Give Gollop's Garage in Avoca a call on (03) 5465 3098. They have a good idea of what is happening in the area.

Well the trips done even though we did not get the information , however we fought the good fight , chickened out where appropriate , and completed the mission with only injuries to our pride.

We can report though that 4 out of 4 wives said they were satisfied.
