G`day all,

Bit -Deals 65 Ltr ac/dc Compressor Fridge @ $ 500.

Has anyone got any info on this Fridge, good, bad or something else ?

It looks ok for a second fridge and cheap enough at the price.

Thanks,

G`day Tom,

I have never looked at their stuff before.

The other thread is good advertising if it draws peoples attention to the site, because its the flavour of the week I thought I would have a look. LOL

These fridges are generic Chinese fridges sold by many on line sellers.

I recall I was working for an importer who was prepared to import a container if he could get sufficient orders, so we advertised them as a group deal. Unfortunately we only got 1 inquiry !
The warranty is covered by the supplier providing a few fridges FOC in the container, so if there is any problem , the fridge is usually replaced. I wonder whether there could be any warranty coverage in out of the way places if a unique part died.

I recall one seller was offering a long warranty at a much higher price to the Bit Deals price, so look on ebay and work out your optimum mix of warranty and price and figure out in your own mind whether the company will be there to provide warranty.

There is an Australian fridge manufacturer who also sells these fridges AFAIR Evakool so they may be a better bet for warranty.
