hj 60 starter motor

hi just wondering just had a brand new starter motor put in i have a 84hj 60 cruiser i paid $480 fitted and tested does that sound about right,i thought it was a bit exspensive would anybody let me no thanks.

Yep,
That sounds ok price.
Reasonable quality after market motors start at around $350. Add an hours labour and you price is in the ball park.

The HJ60 has the 2H engine in it - plenty of spare parts on 40 series series sites and wreckers .... finding bits & bobs for 40 series isn't too difficult.

I pulled
mine out and got it serviced.
40bucks thanks.
I had a win on that one.
I threw it back in.. 2bolts. And a power cable
Easy
I had my alternator replaced..that was like 640ish... that hurt.
but a 100-120 upgrade from a 55 ?

did the alternator have the oil pressureon the side

Its a vacuum pump.. not oil pressure
