Hi all,
wanted to thank everyone who made suggestions on how I could get the tv to work on the above unit....once it was hooked into the aerial on the house...there were no probs....for the wee tv that it is...it's not a bad
pic at all....
cheers
Lyn

That was my suggestion to plug it in to the house aerial, wasn't it. Now you just need a really long aerial extension cord for when you go away.

not sure what you suggested apart from age being a contributing factor to not being able to get the thing to work...I reckon I will be able to make do with a normal cord...modern technology is a marvel isn't it [but thanks for your suggestion ] :))

I'm waiting for someone to get a mobile Foxtel digital (satelite) set-up installed in a certain caravan........pull up, line up, and bingo 100 channels of digital rugrat distraction.....
Then there is the 50" plasma screen that can be hung on the outside of the van for after dinner movies.....................................
I think we've all got plans for this van.

When we did our round Oz jaunt we saw exactly that in
Katherine. A winebago dragging a custom trailer for his Suzi had a cabinet built into the front that opened, the dish was lifted and lined with a sat-finder thingie and away he went. Anyhting coming down was his to enjoy.
He was a gold prospector and obviously did pretty
well because he and his wife were travelling in their retirement and they were only in their late 40's early 50's.
Luxury.
