Does anyone know whether it's permitted to travel this road? Very little search information available. On the HEMA map it's labelled as a 'private road' but I can't find any other info. Thanks.

Hi Tony
Yes it is a private Road that will take you through to
Oak Valley and further into Western Australia.
The Road is usually in very good condition and offers a great variety of scenery.
Permits can be hard to get, but I would contact the
Oak Valley art centre to see if you can get a permit that way to buy some of their top quality, low priced arts that they have for sale.
When we were there last August, the Manager at
Oak Valley was telling us that they would like see it an open Community to tap into the Tourism Growth from
Maralinga.
Cheers
Stephen

Great info thanks Stephen!
If we do go that way I'll post a report.

I should have included these images of what the Lake Dey-Dey Road is like.
Cheers
