I have just bought a GlobalSat USB Mouse from the
shop.
Can anyone give me a few clues for the configuration on OziExplorer.
Many thanks,
Rob

Gidday Rob
Plug in your gps mouse and open Oziex
1) Make sure you have the latest version of OziEx (3.95.6d)
2) open configuration
3) Click on the "Gps" tab
4) Click on the "Gps Make " and set to 'NMEA only"
5) in the same window now click on " Find GPS port" then when the "GPS Checker" window opens click on the 'other' option (below Garmin and Lowrance) then 'find GPS"and let the computer search for the GPS.
6) Once the computer finds the GPS mouse take note of com port number that is displayed.
7) Cklose this window
8) click on "Com" window and enter the comp port number in the "Com" window (it is a drop down window listing the comports available on your computer
9) ENSURE you SAVE this before closing the window - then you should be up and running

In OziExplorer you need to go to file/configuration/gps
Select your GPS as NMEA only
Set data to WGS 84
In COM set baud rate to 4800
have to find which com port is used from device manager
Trial and error will get you there - it all connects fairly easily
Can be a problem with drivers and operating systems
See how you go
