I've had my eye on a Waeco CFX65DZ fridge and noticed an email from Anaconda- 25% off all store (with a few exceptions). I got the fridge and a cover for less than $1300, the best price I've found by a long way.
They are also giving away an "adventure pack" with CFX units- a wireless controller, a 150W inverter, a fridge stand, a "cooling"
seat cover, a mini fridge (12/240v) and the ubiquitous baseball cap and stubby holder.
Thought someone might want to know.
Cheers,
Mark
(PS: you can start with the Waeco/Engel/everything else diatribes now!)

I have owned Waeco's since they were new in the market, have the 50L (used as a freezer on the big trips) and a 35L (used as a drinks fridge on big trips) and have absolutely no complaints about them.
cheers

I couldn't see anything about an "adventure pack". Can you share a link please?

I didn't see anything about the pack either, it was just pleasant surprise when I picked up the fridge.
mark D18, I wasn't trolling, it's called sarcasm.
Cheers,
Mark

I might follow this up - I just bought a Waeco CFX (because as you said -I couldn't pass up a fridge at that price) and didn't get any surprise :(

Sorry to hear that Jos. It may have been a South Aust only thing. As mentioned, I didn't know about it until I was told as picking up the fridge.

Why do you want Fridge debate for .
Do you want people to justify your purchase .
No one has taken the bait yet.

I don't think he is trolling because I am a long time user of engel and I even considered buying a waeco fridge freezer at those cheap prices at the moment. I am impressed. But it is for the wife's car

Yep they do appear good value , but I will always pay a bit extra for the opposition.
I think a lot of the
forum users are over the fridge debate for a while at least.
Cheers

Yeah agreed. There is nothing worse than which is better engel or waeco, Nissan or Toyota etc. it would be nice if you could simply get the truth from people that have used both and have real life experience.
