Hi,
My VX model doesn't have the controls in the steering wheel and I would like to know if I purchase a wheel with the controls is there a factory fitted harness behind the dash?

No need to purchase a new steering wheel. You can just purchase the RHS steering wheel controls. If you're a member of the Landcruiser owners online site (LCOOL) then the following link will explain how to go about it including costs.
