Hi folks
Currently in Townsville before heading
home to
Julia Creek. This trip some 4500k in just over a week getting things for the troopy. Problem with second LR tank (crimped hose) so had to stop regularly for fuel. Also food and obviously overnight stays. I was surprised at the
places I stopped/stayed in that some people I encountered were downright obnoxious. It seemed it was a big inconvenience just talking to me let alone serving me. I can see the other side too and have seen some tourists? treat service people less than ideal. I note in a recent post that some people have found this to be true in
Windorah and I concur. The word gets around these days and people will avoid stopping/buying. OK see you on the road (smile and say hi).
