Hello,
Can some one please tell me the the dimensions of the Barrett 250 remote head.
I'm trying to work out where to fit it into my Prado 120.
Thanks in advance.

Can't help with the size, but if you don't find a space for it, keep in mind the "Ram windscreen suction mount system"...you can rest the head on your dash (safe viewing up there too, while mobile) ....and the suction mounts are very secure...used it with my B550/950 head for ages.

Hi Darian
Are you able to point me in the right direction (model #) for a Barrett 950 remote head please?
The website has significant types but I am unable to see a specific one suitable for the 950
Thanks

Hi Darian,
I have a Ram mount for my Spot and am very happy with it.
Could you also point me in the right direction, because like Bungarra I couldn't find the correct mount on their site.

I haven't seen an actual Ram speaker mount for the application in question....(I haven't searched though :-)....I just used the existing plain and simple Barrett flat metal wrap-around speaker bracket. If there isn't one for the 250 head, making one would be simple....bolting it to the Ram ball base is no issue.

Sorry that took so long, been tied up all day. Here is the size. 250mm wide (across the front), 350mm long ( this is including
the nobs), and 95mm high. You also have to include the cradle witch I haven't here. With a remote head, should be a bit shorter I think, but the same width and the same height. Hope this helps. Cheers Errol ( Mobil 2409)

Ok measured but not exact
163mmx80x60mm
This does not include knobs switches which add another 10mm approx
or the big connection to the rear for both power and speaker.. you would need about 150mm for depth to accomadate
these are NOT made for in dash mountings hence why ive never or ever seen them mounted as such

Thanks for that,
Thats a decent size to have to match up somewhere.
At least now I have a idea of the size to start looking around.

As I said ive had an 80 and now a 78 and have mounted them on the transmission tunnel just out of the way of gearstick operation.
