Yes, Baz,
I do believe in fate, I think you would have been O.K on the climb with your friends but you were needed at home first & foremost.
Hubby has cancer but has hope. Sorry to hear that your sister is not so good.
I think that we all have a set time and yours hasn't arrived .
I've seen so many uncanny sets of circumstances which could never happen again, be the cause of escape or non escape. I find it impossible not to believe in fate.
All the best to your family & yes our hearts & donation go to those suffering from this tragedy . This tragedy? I think was Fate?
Take care, safe travels. Ma.

Hi Crusier 91,
Did you read the Blog from Baz?
I'm answering his blog & I haven't read Dawkins. I have seen some very strange things though!
Take care, safe travels, Ma.

Baz, I am a great believer of "Being in the right place at the right time". To me that's Fate, - you are exactly where you are needed or supposed to be. Its where the co-incidences abound and we are quite safe - even when on an Adventure.

How do you do that reliably?
I reckon it is a matter of being able to discern what you really "need" to do rather than doing what you think you "want" or "should" do.
Just like you implied in your blog.

Sometimes it obvious - other times its a job for the advanced soul. i.e Trusting your intuition/gut feeling.

Thanks for sharing your story.
