Just out of curiosity, how many trips do you do each year?
Every weekend, or save up and make one big one every so often.

I was told today that I'm never home. Always out of town.
Sat down and thought about it and they were correct.

Why sit at home when I don't need to?????

Oh come on.............................should I alert the mod's to delete this thread or should I just shoot myself right now.................

I don't want to hear how many trips people do nor do I care......................I don't get away anywhere as much as I'd like too. I'm jealous and I'm steering clear of this thread.

Well I'm not quite fully retired yet and we still have basecamp at home but make sure we get wheels dirty fortnitely at least, however many are just day trips.

Plan major trips (longer than a weekend) at least 4 times a year.

Hopefully with health permitting, one large desert or remote trip and as many short trips to the high country as we can afford.

And this is our problem. We have this little photo in the kitchen that reminds us that we should be "out there". All right. Regulars will say "Not again". But this is why we did it. Love the remote, quiet, honest and peaceful bush.

Well if you really want to see it: Look here;

Love the bush, so we took it home to the kitchen

In the last twelve months we have done thirteen trips around Tassie and been away a total of 61 days.
Prefer to be away in the van than at home.
Go caravaning, life is so much shorter than death.
