Might be better if you specify which area. Tablelands, Cairns, Normanton, Townsville?

Johnny
Suggest you provide a little more specifics. Where will you be? "Northern Queensland" can mean many things and may span thousand kilometres depending on different interpretations.

Yes sorry!
We are heading up the coast from Brisbane. Will go as far as Cooktown and possible beyond if time allows.

Thanks

Big area buddy...

Get out a map book and look for places that seem interesting to you..
What sort of things to you like? Beaches, Waterfalls, bush, Rainforest, open plains or just tracks?

If its tracks then there are way too many to list here..
You are possibly better off looking at 4x4 Earth for Tracks.... (click here)

Then there is a starting point, a middle and a finishing point ....

Had a look at the 4x4 earth for tracks and they don't seem to give much direction, not even GPS points. Am I missing something, wrong link etc?

There may still be some close roads in June, but with luck most will be open,

Usher Point, Muttee Head, OTT, Frenchmans, Old Coach Rd, Bathurst Bay, Cape Melville etc etc..

Grab a HEMA Cape York Map and have a look.
