Hi folks
Myself and a couple of other Toyota drivers (two Hiluxes and a Prado) will be needing a vehicle service on the way through Alice Springs in a couple of months, and want to book in advance.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a competent and competitively priced service outlet in Alice?
Thanks

We went to these people.
Peter Kittle Toyota

We stopped there to get some spare wheel studs.
They also had them in stock!
As well as the brake fluid we needed.

Of our short dealings with them, the staff were very helpful.

You would expect that from such a large regional dealership I suppose.
They seemed to have quite a large spare parts department too.

You also can book a service online.
Cheers

Ive had 2 services done at Peter Kittle on my way through Alice Springs. Im happy with the their service. They will drop you off at your hotel or where ever but do not pick you back up, and the Taxi fare is astronomical. $20 from Heavytree gap to Peter Kittle about 5km's. I can't walk that fare with bad ankle.

That looks unanimous, so we'll follow the advice. Thanks for taking the trouble to provide feedback.

I wonder if there is a 4WD workshop that could do it?

The better ones will throw a spanner over the usual spots and those that can only be reached when the car is on a hoist.

Note that I am not saying that the mob mentioned above wouldn't but you may have to ask for it. The 4WD good ones do it as part of the job.Well ours do anyway.

I think you might find that being in Alice Springs, just about every workshop would a 4WD workshop!
I also have had good experience with the Toyota dealer, Peter Kittle.

Give Colin a call at Sprint Mufflers 08 8953 1844, North Stuart Hwy, I've had good work done by him. I also recommended him to Vic Widman to service his 200 series as well as a customers 79 series.
