Stroke Your Senses at this free expo Sat Aug 29th and Sun Aug 30th in
Northam WA. As
well as showcasing businesses, products and
services from
Northam and surrounds, will feature wines, chocolates, chillies, cheeses, nuts and seeds as
well as an abundance of craft and
home-made items such as candles, soaps, handmade children’s toys and so much more.
We have included other elements as drawcards and to encourage patronage to the Expo as
well as the Small
Farm and Business Expo. These include children’s entertainment with rides and bouncy castle.
As the Expo is being conducted in conjunction with the National Ballooning Championships being held in
Northam, there will be something for everyone. Some of the attractions of the National Ballooning Championships will be where international and Australian Balloonists will participate in ballooning events that require skill and nerve while officials determine who the next Australian Champion will be.
The skies of
Northam will be filled with hot air balloons, providing interactive opportunities for spectators. Each day will bring with it new experiences, packed full of free community activities.
There will also be a Fiesta in the evening funded by the Shire of
Northam which will include children’s activities and entertainment leading up to the Balloon Glow which will take place on Saturday 29 August and will see the lighting up of all 30+ hot air balloons on the oval next to the
Recreation Centre where the Expo is being conducted in the evening.
On the Saturday we are open from 10am until 9pm (to coincide with the Shire's Fiesta which starts at 4.00pm til 9.00pm) and Sunday 10am to 4pm
