In a word, which of the above three do you use. The battery I will be fitting is N70Z.
Quotes: Century $135, Delkor $150, Exide $165

From the guy who looks after most of my 4wd stuff. K&N engineering in Canning Vale WA. This Delkor is physically the same size as an N70Z but higher rated cranking and storage. I can't remember the code number.

I noticed the same, better CCA, better AH and better RC, just that it is a sealed battery and I don't know how they will go in the heat. Can't be topped up as with a "wet" battery.

Thanks, guy said price was "flexible" if I bought two, wonder how $35 each off the two would go? (still running original after 5 years)

I bought a N70 Exide Extreme at Kmart 3 weeks ago for $119
Repco quoted about $130 from memory. All much less than the above figures. And this is in the bush (Armidale NSW)

Nick,
Auto sparky I spoke to said he hadn't had a return in 10 years, would depend on price in the end I 'spose.

I paid $110- for my Exide Extreme just before Xmas, at my local Goodyear retailer. (Kadina, SA),....very happy with it. Also have an Exide Orbital in my camper trailer and it's good too, but sure that's it almost 4 times better than an Extreme...it cost $390- about 12 months ago.
Cheers,
Roachie

Thanks Roachie,
Now have prices ranging from $110 - $165. Someone out there making a lot of money, will keep looking for other quotes
