I'll start with

See above Motherhen,

Greg
I have the same picture taken from a few metres back right on the intersection but would not have recognised it because when I was there in July 2011 the spinifex was more than waist high.
tree on the left is the giveaway.
Special
places out there
Cheers

Hi Equinox,
It looks very much like the country that I captured on a big framed panorama photo of the Gary Highway, but I'm probably wrong!
Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris,
You are very much correct, and that would be a great framed panorama to have. Motherhen posted at the same time, and also picked out
the spot I took the photo from.
Thanks
Alan

of
Mount Jackson?

Good guess Norm, the country looks similar from a distance, however it's a bit further north east - Chris and Motherhen got it!!!!
