Goog's track from North to South. Wonderful countryside. Ever changing scenery and wildlife kept us entertained for ages.
Even though we went in the "opposite" direction as per convention - it was an easy drive. We had smooth run-ups (if you can call them that) up the steep side of the dunes and we just meandered down the shallower but much more churned-up southern side of the dunes. Easy going. We had a 3 metre sand flag which was probably a bit high as it kept whacking the overhanging branches. I'll use a 2 to 2.5m one next time.
The camping on the northern part of the track (where there's no spinifex) was just gorgeous.
Can't wait to go again soon. An amazing track that's easy to drive.
