Hi Guys,
Does anyone know of any good
places to go 4wd'ing and camping up lismore way(north wast NSW)? I'm tring to find somewhere but dont know the area that
well. I dont need any extreme 4 wheel driving just a place to
camp where no one else will find us. Im going insane looking at the NPWS web site- cant they add a list of parks where 4 wheel driving is allowed??
Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry... but you left THAT one open!
Theres Crystalvale, but it's a bit further north near Murwillumbah, a nice
campground in a 4X4 park... rated medium-hard closed if it rains...
There's a lot of 4X4 Nat Parks in northern NSW, around
Tenterfield, Glenn Innes etc... just gotta read the maps!!,

Steve, it's allowed in all of them to some degree but if you go in the school hols don't expect to be alone as we are all looking for that place.
