In January 2003, oziexplorer mentioned the following in a reply:
"SNORKELs should not be fitted and where you are wading a temporary
SNORKEL should be fitted."
What IS a 'temporary
snorkel'? Where can I see one?
Thanks again.
Cheers,
Kevin

I think Cat in the Hat has one...
Snorkels should not be fitted??
Talk about manure for brains.. but we already knew that about him... It had to be a joke.
He just means either hacking a hole in guard or firewall or even in through the windows etc and somehow attaching it to the airbox inlet... How do you ensure a good seal on a temp one??
Not worth a pinch ofbleepreally, considering his powerunit had a
snorkel...
If your going to do it, do it right, engines are worth thousands, snorkels are a few 100...

truckster I was certain you could have made one out of cardboard to save $100 only joking truckster.
A
well fitted
snorkel is a must and
check the connections before you leave on a trip.
All the best
