No, I’m not using them to trek the
Flinders Ranges, but actually to ski the Tasman Glacier, NZ and finding good quality backcountry ski poles, with powder baskets, is a challenge in Australia, even in season. The Black Diamond poles are the goods.

(Guess the powder baskets may be handy trekking in the
Stockton dunes?)
