Navara STX 550 cruise control and VDC problems

just wondering if anyone has had any issues with there cruise control and the VDC system on there stx 550, my cruise control will not set at any speed and also my VDC light and skid light come on after about 15 mins of driving!

mine bought the dualcab in the 550, got 30-45k on it soo far ??
No issues, that engine is a pearler !!!
As for cruise control.. no issues.
take it back to the dealer.. .....
his is auto..and its really good on the fuel.
nissan would kill the wagon market if the 550 was put in the patrol....
idiots that they didnt
and they would sell alot of cab chassis if theyd have that engine in it than the pathetic 4pot oiler in it now

Wait until he tries to lock it in low 1st for a
hill descent and it takes off because the gearbox wont hold a gear then holes the sump because there are no guards. Great on the highway, but basic things missed in the design unfortunately.

There is a mod you can do...
its online... and a good sparky should be able to help...
been mentioned on outerlimits4x4 discussion board...
but the original thread is somewhere else....on the web
it uses a wire and a switch...
to stop it from runnong away on you..

mine has 64.000 kl ms on it so its out of warranty, I don't have a bad word to say about the engine, Iv had it ECU mapped, 3" exhaust, plazmaman intake "hot" pipe, and a few other mods, and a
snorkel, it's running about 220kw and 680nm now, hauls ass!!!!! Might of Sussed the problem out, looks like it is a faulty brake switch on the pedal, I'll post after a change it tomorrow!

I have a 2013 SX and came with 3 year or more important in your case 100,000 Km's
Are you sure your out of Warranty ?

If you did not purchase the extra warranty then the warranty ran out at its 3rd birthday.

Earthing issue possibly. Common issue with aftermarket cruise control in particular. Have you checked out the Navara
forum?
