Hi all
Just getting into my Hema 4x4 maps on my ipad and was wondering if anyone out there can help me with a few queries. I have down loaded the PDF manual but from what I can see does not address my queries.

1) how do I turn off "Follow a Route" without actually deleting the route. ie I want to remove the route overlay from my map.
2) on the flip page what do the following cells / windows mean
a) X-Track/km
b) "R2P7 bears/T" i understand that R2 is route 2 and P7 is way point 7 on that route . Is this the bearing from way point P6 to P7 or way point P7 to P8 or have I got it completely wrong. What is the "T)
c) what !are the cels "Turn" and the "Turn after Way Point"

Many thanks Craig

The Hema 4x4 IPad app is actually the Memory map Product rebundled with Hema maps. There may be some other minor changes too.

The Memory Map Ipad help page is here

Memory Map help

I do know that X-Track is your Cross track distance, or distance from a straight line between 2 waypoints. This would normally be used for boating.

I use cross track out in the bush, lets you know how much off course you are (which happens more often than I would like)

Looking for adventure.
