Hi everyone! I am having trouble finding info about the 6 cabins available at Elliot Falls that are operated privately. We have our camper trailer but thought a cabin would be more comfortable for the in-laws. I even rang national parks but they would not tell me who to contact.

The cabins could be owned by a touring company such as APT or similar which can probably only be used if you are part if a tour group. Not sure, might be worth doing a Google search.

AFAIK there are no cabins at or around
Eliot Falls.
Where did you get the info that there are cabins?

Righteo! Seems I may have made some assumptions. On the map of the
campground there are 6 rectangles near each other and labelled private operator so I guess I assumed they were cabins. Oh
well we will have to help my in-laws erect their tent lol.
Thanks everyone!

TAS
The rectangles you refer to on the map are there to identify the commercial operators sites. The
grey circles represent the tent sites and the white circles represent the camper trailer sites.
If yo have a big party and want to be on the same site,
Site 13 is a camper trailer site, but it is quite large. We had 2 large campers both with full awnings and a Patrol and Landcruiser on the site and still had heaps of room to move.
Make sure you book before you get there - can only do it online. We booked at Moterton Telegraph Station.
Cheers
Anthony

I have been there three times and the last time was only two years ago. I have read up and travelled the area but do not know of any accommodation at Elliot falls other than the (always full)
campground.
Unless it is brand new, in which case one would think it was advertised or more widely known?

Same as CSeaJay says, I've been going up since 87, on a regular basis, and this is the first I've heard of any cabins as
well.
