With 180 litres in your Troopy you should be able to sail past it with heaps to spare.

Trouper, I assume you will be heading west.

Fill up at Ceduna, and Border village is only 490 kms away. I can do it in my 200 Series (138 litres) towing a 3500kg van.

You should piss it in with 180 litres, towing or not.

Just returned across Nullabor and my advice - fill at Ceduna (Penong if don't have range) and then at Eucla (It was $0.20/litre cheaper than Border Village) prices then keep rising til Cocklebiddy. Can't help after that as only as far as Eyre Bird Observatory and return

As advised Trouper, plenty of fuel outlets along the Eyre Highway. The longest distance between fuel stations is Balladonia to Norseman - 192 kilometres.

We don't run too close to empty chasing cheaper fuel after reaching Mundralbilla once and finding their fuel truck two days overdue.

Do a little research before you go.

I refuel exclusively at BP servos because I think I can trust their diesel. Last time I stopped at Mundrabilla, and this might have changed by now, they were using SAFF (South Australian Farmers Federation) diesel that has a high bio content. Modern common rail diesels don't like it, and Toyota won't honour their warranty if more than 5% bio-diesel goes into the tank.

So, Ceduna BP, Border Village BP, and a couple more (Cocklebiddy?) before Norseman BP are my preferences. Not the cheapest, that's for sure, but neither is a rebuild.

Stephen, No need to worry about SAFF - taken over by Mogas in 2009.

You can re-fill at the Nullarbor Roadhouse

It would be better for you to use the "Insert Link" function. It works correctly every time and does not produce those crappy links.
