Well what a morning that was. I was awoken to emails saying Storage Full in the system production database. Bugga not a nice way to wake up. Anyway to cut a long long long campfire special story short the database has been moved to a bigger, newer, shiner system with 4 times the storage capacity of the previous database.
It was one of those oh I will get that done soon things that came up and bit me. So sorry for the downtime but now we are back up and running.

Hey what's going on Dave?
Ended up going to work early this morning lol..
Seriously though, what does this mean to the site? Will there be any noticeable differences with a bigger database..speed?
Cheers
Alan

Alan,
Just means it will work for a long time without falling over again with the same problem.
But actually this increased capacity does open up some things I have wanted to do with linking dynamic mapping data directly from the database to the website.
You will not notice mush else unfortunately, it was really a backend admin function. Though the extra space does help me with indexing and some minor performance updates (which is want caused the problem in the first place - User
Treks).

No worries, look forward to seeing the mapping linked up.
Cheers
