Nothing like paying good $$ for over and over recycled water , you would get less salt driving the vehicle into the
Noosa river at the
boat ramp...

I agree , I never use them as I am sure that water is close to seawater unless they use fresh water every time which I doubt .

Thanks to all....at least I was able to establish that the place is still operating...(thanks Willy W) have used it many times but not for quite a while.
For those who don't know the purpose of a 4w4 underbody car wash is to remove any sand and salt water that may have been picked up whilst driving on a beach...obviously this needs to be carried out as soon as possible after leaving the beach. The system works by driving the vehicle into a bay and having a series of high pressure sprays directed directly underneath, the pressure is such that anyone inside the car will feel it 'lift'. I view this as a temporary measure to be followed up with a more thorough spray with a hand held hose once back at
home. (Thanks Whole Hog)
Despite what you may read here 4x4 underbody car washes do not generally use recycled water, (thanks Alloy ct) I cant speak for them all but I do know that
Tewantin actually uses the town mains...I checked this a long time ago.
Top End...I see you didn't want to be negative but by saying you 'would give it a miss' but not explaining why how is that not being negative?
