Hi all. My retired father has a 2012 Challenger and is towing a van and is finding the range limiting. He is in Bunbury WA but is able to get to Perth for a long range tank. Any good suggestions or experiences people have had?
Thanks in advance.

Endee metals in Bayswater sell an HDPE plastic tank , they seem to be lighter than the steel variants , fitted one to the new PX ranger the other day, seemed easy enough to fit. held 145 litres. fitting a new tank will require a compliance upgrade

Hi Stuart,

I've not heard of a compliance upgrade in regard to larger fuel tanks. Is this a WA thing, or national?

Cheers

Never did mine when I put a dirty big one in the Patrol.

Gave the guy who bought it after I had it a fright as dealer didnt tell him and he didnt have enough money for it when he filled it. 190L later ROFL

Hi Tom,
Same thing happened to me.
Bought a S/H Mazda Xtra Cab with canopy as a local runabout, previous owner had used it as a solo tourer (blacktop only) and fitted an aftermarket 150ltr tank. Caught me short of cash when I went to fill it up. Thank God for the debitcard.

Disco.

wa has just caught up with the national licensing , all mods , suspension , fuel tanks will come under federal laws , we need a vsb 6 as body builders to fit fuel tanks, trays and other to get vehicles licensed
