If anyone reading this is familiar with Port Macquarie, can you advise whether there are any areas to avoid from a rental aspect. Daughter needs to move down there for work and wouldn't want her to end up in a crappy area.
Thanks in advance.

Hi
As a property owner I would not look at the town beaches area.
You can contact Jamie at LJ Hooker at Port, she is very good.
Cheers

Thanks for that Grant
Looking at a PM map - I assume you mean the beaches near the town centre??
And is that because they are expensive or because of some other issues?

When we bought in Port we were told that the beaches area has a higher turnover of people and it gets very crowded in summer as well.
We bought over near settlement city.
Cheers

I grew up in Port, I would be keeping away from Westport area and town. Shelley Beach and Lighthouse beach are good spots Flynns area has a fair few rental properties so will get the good and bad but I wouldn't go any futher into town then that.

Flynns area will be busier then the others in summer months as there are motels around there also but that is where I grew up before moving out to Lighthouse beach area.
