Does anybody know of a caravan fridge that has two seperate control units one for the fridge temperature and one for the freezer temperature.

Unless the fridge is designed for it you can't have separate controls, most fridges have one thermostat it will either monitor the chilled area or the freezer, if for instance it monitors the chilled area and the chilled area is to warm it will start the compressor with cools the freezer area even if the freezer area is ok as the cold air from the freezer is what cools the chilled area.

I have seen the Mammoth made by Primus at Annaconda and it had a fridge compartment and separate freezer.

Both areas had their own controllers for Temperature.

Should have read properly. The mammoth is a typical camper trailer type. Not a caravan upright.

Hi HKB
This is my problem we have a 240lt Novakool compressor fridge the setting is on 4 which we were told to leave it and dont touch which we do.
Now the fridge will sit on 3 which is fine but the freezer will not go over -6c,if we adjust the control down to 2 the fridge drops to zero and the freezer goes down to -9.most people we talk to there freezer runs at -15 we have never seen that temperature in 3 years.
We have taken it back to the manufacturer who tells us the unit runs perfectly.
Cheers

Baker,
I know you probably want an upright fridge/freezer but we have a 100L chest type which has dual circuits and separate controls. Can run each compartment at whatever temp you wish. They are more efficient than the uprights but perhaps a bit less convenient.

We have the following
