We're heading for NT next week with our 5.8m boat. When in
Darwin we are staying in a hotel for four nights. They do not have
parking for the boat (my 2.1m high Delica probably won't fit either) and have suggested
parking outside, on the street. I don't fancy this idea. Any thoughts on somewhere nearby where we could park the boat overnight for a few days (using it during the day)? I have tried two of the caravan parks but they do not do storage. Also tried the ski club- no go.
Cheers,
Mark

If not too late, just wondering if it is possible to just change from hotel accom to a nice cabin at one of the cara parks ??
Should be ok with the boat then, and most cabins are as comfy as the avg hotel (unless you're staying at the Hyatt or similar :)

Hi Mark,
Try
boat ramp at buffalo creek which have overnight secure storage or the boat club down near the duck (fishing boat harbor)

Hi Mark,
We are at Virginia, 600 metres off the Stuart Highway, on a fenced 5 acre block.
Even though we are about 20km's from the city, it's still quite central and you will probably be going past our turn off to go fishing anyway.
You are welcome to leave your boat here.
Regards, Dave
