Does anybody know how to arrange a tour at
Maralinga?
I emailed Robin about 3 weeks ago & have had no reply.

Shaker
Try contacting him through the
Maralinga Tours website at www.maralingatours.com.au. He has a lot on his plate, and does not always respond promptly to email. In my limited experience however he always does respond, even if it takes a little while.
The tour is worth the wait. I took it in April.

yep as above. I about to for
Maralinga for the tour. It took a few days for the office to get back to me. As I am about to leave they just emailed me the map through Colona and
Ooldea should you wish to go that way. The office staff have been great help so far

I took a small group to
Maralinga in April, the first tour of the year. Booking via the website is the preferred way to book. In fact for the general public it is the only way to book. After your booking is confirmed, then it may be advisable to contact Robin to discus entry times etc.

I've looked online, it appears that it's a 3 day excercise, think I might give it a miss!

It's just arrive day one at a time to suit group and Robin (to open up), tour next day, leave anytime 3rd day.
2 night camping is included, and good facilities.

Shaker, As Les says it is really a 1 day tour plus accommodation either side. Get there at 4PM on the night before and if you like go straight after the tour.
DO IT!! it is fantastic.
I'm there for my second visit in 9 weeks.

just got back from tour with Robin. Trip is a great day out.
Well worth the effort of coming. For Judy and I it was informative and great company. Will post blog on our return
home in about 3weeks. Lack of power for laptop. The money is not a issue as tRobin is bending over backwards to look after the tourists visiting. This tour is becoming popular as he has 14heads next tues and another24heads on thurs.. amongst all his other duties. He is also developing a new camping are with great facilities
