have recently done this track last week of 2015 and totally recommend it.the track follows the river through
the gorge and is slow but quite easy with some loose sand crossings and some rocky bits so a high clearance vehicle is a must. was planning to
camp at
boggy hole wich is a great spot to
camp but arrived around much earlier than I anticipated after leaving alice 9ish so we kept going and made it to ayres
rock in the arvo. this track is
well worth it and easily done as a day trip from
alice springs or
kings canyon. hope this helps anyone thinking about giving it a go.
