We have one of these that we would like to run off 240v using an inverter/converter (not sure of the right word). Requirement is for 12v Dc 32W.

Not being technically minded in any way what would be the best and cheapest way to achieve this. Don't want to spend too much money as the whole unit is not worth a lot really.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Thanks.

John

Just wondering why you want to run it off 240v unless you're planning on running it off a generator when stopping overnight I don't think you'll gain anything if it's just for when you are travelling it is cheaper to just run it of the power cord supplied or just change the plug to something more secure that won't come loose when traveling if that's what you're concerned about. Setting up an inverter will cost a lot more and you won't gain anything unless you plan on running something else off it as well that needs 240v supply.
