Hi Greg and Leonie
Is your caravan suitable for taking on dirt roads?
Menindee to Ivanhoe is unsealed mainly loam and clay road and is currently closed following rain.
I do not know how much of the Ivanhoe to
Balranald Road is unsealed, but it is also currently closed due to rain.
Balranald Council will be able to advise you.
It doesn't seem to take much rain to close the unsealed roads in this area of New South Wales.
You would need to
check conditions closer to your time of departure.

Those roads close with rain to protect their surfaces. Large penalties apply to people travelling on those roads when they are soft.
Keep an eye on this site. - also don't leave it open when not using it if you have a limited download allowance as it updates frequently (every minute.) If you don't wish to close it you can untick the auto update box in the bottom LH corner.
