Any body crossed the macquarie river at dixons long point recently or no if the river is high or low? Hope to cross this weekend saturday

I wouldn't even think of it if I was you hey. Been heaps of snow melt in the higher Macquarie catchment ...so river is bound to be up...and the deeper hole against the far bank is non negotiable if river is up a bit . Plus...more rain and snow forcast for this week too. I haven't been out there ...and not likely to unless conditions are dry ...as the track can get quite messed up...and isn't really appreciated by the locals.

Thanks I thought it would be up due to the snow but had been given conflicting reports on the river as I have to go

Hill end it's been 25 years since I've been there & hoped I could drive thru & re visit where I scattered my dad's ashes in 1990

Try nat parks at Hillend or
Bathurst, I think it will be OK.
We went across 2 yrs ago when it was flowing a banker and had no probs ( we were towing campers )
