Almost always fine for any sort of vehicle and / or towing.
Only exception is after rain, just keep an eye on the SA outback road conditions report online.
Some sights to see on the way.
Curdimurka siding, plane henge, mound springs cp.
Up the road a bit, Beresford siding is quite worthwhile for a look.

Yep. Check that report the day before as it doesn't take much rain to see those roads closed.

Drop your tyre pressures by around 25% and keep your speed down.

In gravelly sections do the right thing and slow down and move to the left, or else you'll likely ruin someone else's holiday.

Came down the track last week , good condition at that end and were doing some regrading too.

Haven't been up there for a few weeks but apart from a bit of wheel rutting on the borefield you'd have no dramas.

Watch the loose gravel on the borefield around Arid Recovery as well as it gets a bit slippery when in 2wd.
