Review: inReach Explorer Satellite Comm. & GPS

First review. Had decided on the in reach explorer as we felt it best suited our needs for future travel with messaging and sos functionality in areas that otherwise no comms would be available. Found it easy to establish login with Pivotell and activate the unit. Received satellite signal quickly and added contacts and synced from laptop easily. The compass function was easy to calibrate so overall the inreach unit appears to be fairly operator friendly and I expect to be able to master other functions once underway on our next trip in the next few days and find a little time to sit back and spend some more time with the unit before we will be in any area that we may need to use the communicator or other functions. I will be happy to provide another report on the In reach explorer as the this trip progresses
