Maybe you should call Doug at Lakecomm. He sells and installs them.
He did an excellent job with my GU when he installed an NGT & Autotune. If Doug can't help you directly he will be able to put you onto someone that can.
Ph number is 0249421966
cheers

PS.
My autotune does this as
well, but, only on high frequencies in close proximity (10 mtr or so) to metal/dense objects of substantial size. IE. Roof, Powerlines, large structures, ETC.
Haven't had any trouble tuning any frequency out of town.

RIC , I just got a RADTEL news letter advising that NGT's need a firmware update to version 3.14 so
check your software version. I don't think it affects the ariel but
beacon calls

your right. it's only the firmware for the configuration of the NGT. has nothing to do with the autotune.

WA is knee deep in Codan users - do you have a contact in the VKS737 HF network ? They could soon put you onto someone for a
check-up.
Terry at
http://www.outbacker.com.au/ would know. Roy Watkins who authors the CSR conditions page would know (Roads section of the site....www.vks737.on.net.....email Roy on csr@espalarms.com.au
